About Us
Porters Racing was founded in 2000 when Paul and Scott Porter made the decision to go Drag Racing in the sportsman category of Super Street with a Ford Falcon XD.
Like most people who have a passion for Drag Racing Paul and Scott decided that it was time to step up and the next step for their Drag Racing career was to go into Super Stock - one of the toughest sportsmen categories in Drag Racing. The Porters' campaigned a Ford XR8 during this time.

In 2006, the team decided to move from the sportsman ranks to the ANDRA Pro Series Drag Racing and hence the commencement of Porters Racing within the Pro Stock ranks.
The 2007/2008 ANDRA Pro Stock season was the first full season for the Porters Racing team with their U.S. built Jerry Bickel 2007 Ford Mustang
The car is powered by a 400 cubic inch Small Block engine, which was built by John Barabagallo or JB Automotive in Ayr, North Queensland. To date the team has produced a elapsed time of 7.05 seconds.
